The palace of the King of the Ashanti Kingdom, Manhyia, has urged the general public to disregard reports linking the palace to preparations for Daddy Lumba’s funeral.
A statement shared by the media wing of the palace said, “Manhyia urges the general public to disregard any reports attempting to associate the palace with matters concerning the preparations for the burial and funeral rites of Mr Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba.
This comes days before the late musician’s final funeral rites of the late music icon whose death has exposed a number of family issues.
Meanwhile, his Abusuapanin has told the media that the funeral will go on regardless of the pushback from some members of the family to postpone it.
