Drama as Late Samuel Aboagye’s Family Drags Widow to Court Over Refusal to Do DNA Test on Child

The family of the late Samuel Aboagye has taken legal action against his widow, Abigail Salami Aboagye, following what they describe as her repeated refusal to present their daughter for a DNA test.
According to the family, despite several appeals, Mrs. Aboagye has consistently declined to make their child, Queen Alisa Aboagye, available for the test that would determine whether she is indeed the biological daughter of the late Samuel Aboagye.
The family believes that conducting the DNA test is not only crucial for establishing paternity but also for bringing clarity and fairness to the matter of the rightful beneficiaries of Samuel Aboagye’s estate.
Samuel Aboagye tragically lost his life in the August 6, 2025 plane crash, which claimed the lives of several Ghanaians. In the wake of his passing, family members say Mrs. Aboagye’s hesitation to cooperate has deepened their grief and complicated the process of settling his affairs.
Reports suggest that when the tragedy occurred, the family was forced to obtain DNA samples from another child the late Samuel Aboagye had with a different woman in order to proceed with certain official processes, a development they describe as both painful and unnecessary.
