Easton Area High School Principal Jeannette Kassis, 51, has died after battling cancer for a long time.
Lehigh Valley authorities and Councilman Frank Pintabone confirmed the loss, with Pintabone calling her “one of the good ones.”
Kassis served at least ten years and was celebrated as a gift to students.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
