Eid Mubarak– Bawumia prays for Ghana, celebrates end of Ramadan

Former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has extended warm Eid ul-Fitr greetings to Muslims in Ghana and beyond, celebrating the successful completion of Ramadan.

In a heartfelt message shared on his social media handles, Dr. Bawumia, alongside his wife Hajia Samira Bawumia, expressed gratitude for the spiritual journey of the holy month and prayed for divine blessings upon the nation.

“On the blessed occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, Hajia Samira and I extend our warmest congratulations to fellow Muslims in Ghana and the world over for a successful Ramadan.

“May the Almighty Allah accept our supplications and extend His favours upon all of us, our loved ones, and our dear nation,” he wrote.

Emphasizing the values of generosity and compassion, he urged Muslims to carry forward the acts of kindness shown during Ramadan, particularly towards the less fortunate.

“Let us continue to uphold the virtues of kindness we showed during the holy month, especially to the poor and vulnerable members of our society. Eid Mubarak.”
