Kumasi-based Pure FM has been gutted by fire, forcing the media house to suspend all its programming.
Reports indicate that the blaze on Wednesday began while live programming was in progress.
The media entity is said to have lost all its equipment and some parts of the building that houses it.
Meanwhile, there were no casualties recorded as a result of the fire outbreak.
A post by Kwame Adinkrah, who is the morning show host of the station, read, “I’m completely exhausted. We’ve just spent over three intense hours battling the fire that broke out at Pure FM studios. Thankfully, we managed to save the building, but we lost all our studio equipment. We’ll be off air temporarily, but we shall rise again!”.
