Multiple wooden structures for both domestic and commercial use behind the Ferro Fabrik Ltd in the Tema Heavy Industrial Area have been gutted by a raging fire.
The fire, which, according to reports, started at dawn on June 19, 2025, has destroyed properties worth millions of cedis.
The Ghana Fire Service, in a post via social media, indicated that seven fire tenders were deployed to the fire scene, with senior officers, including the regional commander, operations officer, and district commanders, on-site to coordinate and supervise firefighting operations.
As of the time of filing this report, the Ghana Fire Service had brought the fire under control.
They reported that no casualties have been recorded in the fire incident; however, its cause has not been readily divulged.
