Five persons have filed to contest for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearership contest.
The five include Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who represented the party as flagbearer in the 2024 general election.
The others are Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Ken Ohene Agyapong, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, and Dr. Yaw Adutwum.
A statement from the party’s election committee assured all stakeholders of their commitment to a transparent, credible and fair process guided by the party’s constitution to ensure the integrity of the process.
The party will go to the polls on January 31, 2026.
