Be careful what you say about God – Kaywa warns critics of prophecy

Ghanaian sound engineer and music producer, Kaywa, has cautioned the public against dismissing the prophetic ministry due to personal doubts or misinformation.

The celebrated hitmaker stressed the importance of reverence when discussing spiritual matters during an appearance on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh.

“Be careful what you say about God, what you say about His things. It’s very important,” Kaywa advised. He added that some criticisms stem from ignorance: “When you are naive, or for want of a better word, when you are not informed about something, that’s the way you handle it.”

Kaywa acknowledged the growing skepticism surrounding prophets in Ghana but urged critics to avoid generalizing or completely writing off the prophetic office.

“When they have not heard God say this, God said, leave them for God,” he stated. “Don’t totally relinquish the prophetic office or the prophetic space somewhere and say it’s not real. It is your opinion, but make sure that you keep it there.”

He admitted that many people are disillusioned by some prophetic figures who haven’t delivered expected results, saying, “Usually those they are looking at are not giving them the right results they are looking for. That’s where the problem is.”

In a surprising moment during the conversation, Kaywa also shared a personal belief that late Ghanaian rapper Castro accepted Christ before his death. “God actually accepted Christ before he died? Oh yeah, I’ll tell you 100%,” he revealed.
