Forestry CEO Personally Signs Transfer Letters of NDC Boys Who Exposed His Pro-NPP Timber Deals

The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission, Dr. Hugh C.A. Brown, is facing fresh internal backlash over what insiders describe as a troubling pattern of political witch-hunting, administrative overreach, and blatant disregard for laid-down institutional procedures.

This comes in the wake of a controversial allocation of 107 forest compartments to Supremo Woods, a company owned by known New Patriotic Party (NPP) operative Francis Donkoh.

This decision however was later reversed by the sector Minister Hon. Armah Kofi Buah whom the CEO is said to have no regards for.

Following the Minister’s intervention, Dr. Brown allegedly launched an internal purge, targeting two staff members at the Commission’s Registry suspected of leaking documents or information due to their alleged affiliation to the NDC.

Both officers were hastily transferred one to the Amasaman office and the other to a regional office without any formal disciplinary process or consultation with either the Corporate Human Resource Directorate or the Divisional HR, sources told MyNewsGh.com.

Letters, copies of which are possession of this portal shows the CEO simply wrote the letters himself and sent them out.

Multiple sources within the Commission have confirmed that Dr. Brown personally issued the transfer directives, bypassing established administrative structures.

The latest developments have deepened growing unease within the Forestry Commission, with staff increasingly concerned about job security, political targeting, and a lack of due process under Dr. Brown’s leadership.

There are mounting calls for the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources to investigate what some describe as “institutional intimidation” and to rein in what appears to be a pattern of anti-NDC motivated decision-making.
