Chief requests for NDC’s ‘Kwen Kwen’ to be played at his event

A traditional ruler shocked people in his community when he ordered the DJ at an event to play the popular ‘Kwen Kwen’ campaign song of the NDC during the 2024 elections.

Last Sunday, the Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, and MP for Techiman North, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare organised a Thanksgiving service for his constituents.

According to the Chief, the Nacee-composed song used to be one song the New Patriotic Party members didn’t want to hear in the build-up to the elections because it was their nightmare.

He said, “There is one song that I monitored during the campaign, and I have come to like it. That is the song the now-opposition feared. So, at all costs, that song will be played here”.
