Ghana Drunkards Association declares a one-week break for its 16.7 million members

The Ghana Drunkards Association has announced a break in consumption for its members from November 10 to 17.
The decision to halt their drinking activities is to help them reflect on their lives and also go for their medical checks, because they’ve lost a number of their members lately.
A statement from the Association urged members to also use the period to pray for the country and the president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama.
It used the opportunity to caution its members to be vigilant and ensure that products are well approved by the Food and Drugs Authority before consuming ahead of the Christmas and New Year festivities.
