Ghana was indeed criminally managed—Ato Forson

Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson, PhD, has stated that Ghana was criminally managed by the previous government.
According to him, the current government inherited a weak economy, which was struggling to find its feet.
“Indeed, as President Mahama said, the whole of Ghana was a crime scene,” he remarked during the mid-year budget presentation.
The Minister, however, indicated that since taking over the administration of the country, they have made a number of gains.
He mentioned that the government has taken prudent economic decisions to right the wrongs of the previous government to make the economy better.
Ato Forson indicated that the decisions have ensured that the country sees some progress in its economy.
“We have made significant progress; the signs of recovery are visible,” he added.
