Gifty Oware-Mensah who is the former deputy Executive director of the National Service Authority (NSA) according to a source is currently in Morocco.
The National Investigation Bureau(NIB) disclosed that they were looking for her to assist in an investigation into some scandals at NSA but she was nowhere to be found.
This prompted people to say she was on the run to avoid getting arrested by the NIB following her alleged involvement in the scandal which has led to a huge financial loss to the state.
Well, new information coming in has it that the former NSA boss is currently in Morocco with the Black Queens Team.
According to the source, Gifty who is the Chairperson of the management team of the Blackstars joined the team in Morocco to carry out her duties for the betterment of the National female football team.
The source disclosed that upon the team’s return to Ghana, she will avail herself to the NIB to answer any question posed to her in the ongoing NSA investigation.
It said that Gifty Oware disclosed that she carried out her role as Deputy Executive Director at the NSA with dignity and utmost integrity.
Aside from being the Chairperson for the female management team, Oware-Mensah is a member of the GFA Executive Council, co-owner of Berry Ladies Football Club, and Vice President of Berekum Chelsea.
