Former Vice President of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has praised the Lord for punishing the NDC over their lies they told about him with regards to the Bawku conflict.
According to him, the National Democratic Congress MPs in the Bawku zone are finding it difficult to go back home because the people have now seen through their lies and are on the lookout for them.
These MPs have had to stay in Accra while there is turmoil, but they can do nothing to help bring peace.
“Only God makes things right, and as of today, the people of Bawku realise that the NDC lied to them. The NDC MPs in the Bawku zone are having a very tough time; they can’t go home.
They are looking for them after lying about me; now they have to go home and answer, and they are not willing to go home,” he said while addressing party members in the Upper East Region.
The former Vice President disclosed that in Konongo, the Kusasi chief and his people came to apologize to him for the stance they took against him during the 2024 elections.
To him, with the recent realisation, he knows that if there were an election, the results would be different from what happened in 2024.
