God no dey sleep – Cynthia Morgan slams Peter Okoye over fresh fallout, recalls past betrayal

The family drama within the now-defunct P-Square camp has just taken a fresh twist, and this time, singer Cynthia Morgan — now known as Madrina — is speaking up.

In a fiery series of Instagram Story posts, Cynthia reacted to Mr. P (Peter Okoye)’s recent online outbursts aimed at his brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye. While Peter vented over alleged image sabotage and betrayal, Cynthia was quick to call him out for being part of the problem in the past.

“I have a mixed feeling about my name popping up like this. I am not a weak person. Certain family members made it look so… you @peterpsquare included… until you found out what they were doing to you too. Na me listen to una sha.”

Cynthia’s post comes on the heels of Peter Okoye’s online clapback after Jude Okoye’s lawyer accused him in court of lying to the EFCC in their ongoing royalty dispute. Peter didn’t hold back, dragging his brothers and posting:

“Exactly what I was talking about: their publicist doing everything for me to look like a liar. I am not May D or Cynthia Morgan; I am Peter Okoye… Una thief abi una no thief?”

That reference clearly didn’t sit well with Cynthia, who says she’s done being used as a pawn in their family feud.

She took it further by recalling a painful encounter with Peter back in 2020, after he publicly tweeted support for her in the heat of her fallout with Jude Okoye. Cynthia revealed:

“In 2020 after my interview and those tweets from Peter, I went to him with my mum to thank him… he categorically told me I can’t fight his brother, that his brother is richer than me and that his stance online wasn’t because he cared for me… he did it because he wanted to let the world know the reason for some of his actions and that his brothers were no good.”

The conversation, she said, crushed her spirit.

“This one meeting broke me and I moved on… till they labeled me crazy.”

And now that Peter is revisiting her name in his ongoing feud, Cynthia isn’t staying silent:

“I told him how he treated me in 2020 and he apologized only for me to wake up this morning again to see him using my name in a disparaging manner and that will not be tolerated.”

She closed with a sharp jab at Jude:

“Jude wickedness don reach everybody now. God no dey sleep.”

From betrayals to reunions and now public fallouts, the P-Square family drama continues to unfold — and with Cynthia Morgan back in the conversation, this storm may be far from over.
