Government’s commitment to sports dev’t boosted our morale to qualify — Jordan Ayew

Captain of the Black Stars, Jordan Ayew has acknowledged the role the government played in helping Ghana qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

According to him, the commitment of the government to sports development is something that boosted the morale of the players and urged them on to victory in the qualifiers.

“To the Government of Ghana, thank you for your unwavering support and encouragement. Your commitment to sports development in Ghana is a boost to our morale,” he said.

Jordan used the opportunity to thank his teammates for their commitment to the country and the effort they put in to help the West African country qualify for the 2026 World Cup.

“To my teammates, your dedication, hard work, and commitment to the team have been inspiring. I’m grateful to play alongside each of you and I’m proud of the bond we’ve formed.”
