Government of Ghana has confirmed the death of former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.
This was contained in a statement of condolence signed by the government’s spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.

The statement said “with deep regret and profound sorrow, the untimely passing of former First Lady and Founder of the 31st December Women’s Movement, Her Excellency Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings”.
It indicated that Mrs Rawlings passed on the morning of October 23, 2025, after a short illness.
It extended the government’s deepest condolences to her immediate family.
