Govt insists Ntim Fordjour must answer drug allegations — Felix Kwakye Ofosu

Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, says the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) is patiently waiting for Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, to approve the release of Assin South MP, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, for questioning.
According to him, the MP has not honoured any invitation from security agencies after claiming that two aircraft loaded with drugs and cash recently landed in Ghana.
Speaking on Channel One TV, Kwakye Ofosu stressed the need for transparency in the process.
“The NIB has officially written to the Speaker to release Ntim Fordjour. We are waiting for his response. And personally, I have asked that the interrogation be made public,” he said.
