The Member of Parliament for Kintampo South, Hon. Felicia Adjei has organized a three-day free health screening exercise in Kintampo South. This initiative aims to bring essential medical services closer to her constituents and promote community well-being during October, which is recognized worldwide as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
In an interview with the media, Hon. Felicia Adjei called on the Ghana Health Services to intensify their campaigns on breast cancer awareness and non-communicable diseases as a matter of urgency.
She urged the health promotion unit and disease control department to be proactive in delivering healthcare services promptly.

The screening event served over 400 women, resulting in three confirmed cases of breast cancer, who have since been referred to a larger facility for immediate care.
