I have not been arrested abroad — Kwame Ohene Frimpong breaks silence

Kwame Ohene Frimpong, Member of Parliament for Asante-Akyem North in the Ashanti Region, has gone live on Facebook to clarify his work abroad and address circulating rumours.
“I am abroad representing my constituents and attracting investors to our area,” he said in the video monitored by MyNewsGh.
“Through my efforts, over 89 individuals have received scholarships. The NDC government facilitated 60 of these projects, and I managed the rest myself.”
Clarifying his political alignment, the MP stated, “My decision to work with the NDC does not mean I betrayed the NPP. I served in the NPP before running as an independent candidate and winning my seat. I am satisfied with how the NDC is managing things so far.”
Kwame Ohene Frimpong also denied claims that he had been arrested for cocaine possession abroad. “I am very much alive because of the support of the children and people I have helped as an MP. They spiritually intervene on my behalf,” he explained.
Expressing pride in his accomplishments, he added, “I am making positive changes, and those who are trying to bring me down will not succeed.
“I urge party supporters to move beyond partisan politics and embrace change. I am on a path to success.”
During the live session, the MP played a voice note of a woman celebrating news of his alleged arrest in Canada. “This is exactly what I am talking about — false narratives trying to tarnish my image,” he remarked.
