I owe everything to Allah — 2025 best graduating law student Latifa Fuseini shares

Newly crowned Best Graduating Student of the Ghana School of Law (2025), Latifa Teiya Fuseini Esq., opened up about the grit, faith, and support system that defined her journey to the top of her class in an interview with TV3 monitored by MyNewsGh.

The young lawyer expressed deep gratitude to God for guiding her through what she described as “a challenging but fulfilling path.”

Latifa recalled moments of doubt, particularly before taking the Law School entrance exams.

“I was scared to take the entrance exam because of the low pass rate,” she admitted, adding that her parents’ encouragement kept her grounded.

“They told me I could definitely do it, and that gave me the strength to try.”

She credited her success largely to her parents and the community of supportive friends she built along the way.

“My parents were incredible, their resources, guidance, and belief in me made all the difference,” she said.

Beyond hard work, Latifa emphasized the indispensable role of faith in her journey.

“I owe everything to Allah. There were times I came home crying after exams, thinking I hadn’t done well, but He carried me through,” she said.

Her father, who joined the interview, echoed that sentiment, offering words of gratitude and wisdom.

“No matter how knowledgeable you are, your knowledge alone cannot bring you salvation without the blessings of the Almighty,” he said, visibly proud of his daughter’s achievement.
