I was accused of using my daughter’s blood for rituals

Koku Anyidoho has expressed frustration over what he describes as years of sustained defamation against his name, warning that he is now taking legal action against those responsible.
The former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC lamented the extent to which falsehoods have been peddled against him, even going as far as alleging that he sacrificed his own daughter for rituals.
“I have children, a family, and a name to protect. I lost my daughter painfully, and yet some people have gone as far as saying I deliberately killed her for rituals. Enough is enough,” he fumed during an interview on 3FM with Blakk Rasta monitored by MyNewsGh.
Anyidoho revealed that he has already initiated legal proceedings against individuals and media entities that have defamed him. “I have decided I won’t discuss these matters on the airwaves anymore. Instead, I will let the courts handle them,” he stated firmly.
He questioned why, despite all these allegations, no one from the party had ever reached out to him for clarification or reconciliation. “Not once has anyone said, ‘Koku, we know you, we know your loyalty—can we sit down and talk?’ Instead, I am constantly maligned and left to defend myself,” he said.
Although he remains committed to the NDC, Anyidoho insists that he will not let lies and baseless accusations define his legacy. “Politics is just one facet of my existence, and I won’t allow it to be the only thing people judge me by,” he concluded.
