I was born to entertain — Tinny

Ghanaian rapper has Tinny has said long before fame found him, he already in love with the stage.
From his early school days, the rapper says he knew he was born to entertain, whether through music, drama, or performance.
Appearing on Hitz FM with Doreen Avio and Kwame Dadzie, Tinny reflected on his artistic beginnings.
“I was an entertainer when I was coming up as a little boy,” he said. “In my school time days, if I didn’t play drums, I’d be part of those doing play-acting. And if not, then I’d be performing music.”
Tinny explained that his passion for entertainment was so natural that it eventually shaped his destiny.
“I realized that the path I’d chosen was the right way. So, I say big ups to God for giving me this great talent, putting me on the map,” he said with gratitude.
Known for pioneering Ga rap in Ghana’s mainstream music scene, Tinny has influenced generations of artists while staying true to his authentic roots.
His reflections on Hitz FM paint a portrait of an artist who found purpose early — and never let go of it.
“I was meant to do this,” he said confidently. “It’s not just music; it’s who I am.”
