I won’t be an MP who waits for common fund for development—NPP’s K Kwame Asumadu

Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Akwatia Constituency, Solomon Kwame Asumadu, has assured his constituents of being a proactive Member of Parliament.
He says development in the constituency will not be hinged on the availability of the Common Fund from the government.
According to him, he will undertake developmental projects that will transform the constituency and make it an envy of other constituencies, considering how resourceful he is as a person.
“I assure you of development in the constituency. I will not be an MP who will wait for the common fund to ensure that my people enjoy development,” he said while addressing a charged crowd of party faithful.
Adding, “People who know me know that I don’t just talk. I am a doer, and I promise you people great things. I know Ernest Kumi had this constituency at heart and wanted to do great things; however, he could not achieve those things because of how short-lived his life was. I promise to ensure that all he desired for the constituency will be achieved by me.”
