I would’ve been a perfect fit for the special prosecutor job—Martin Kpebu

Private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu believes he is a perfect fit for the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
Although he does not have any interest in becoming the Special Prosecutor, he would have executed the role with alacrity if he were given the position.
However, by principle, he will not accept any offer to become the Special Prosecutor after he has succeeded in booting Kissi Agyebang out of office.
The private legal practitioner was speaking to Accra-based Asempa FM when he made this known.
“But for my advocacy for the OSP to be removed, it will not make sense for me to take such a position because it will look like my advocacy was just to get him out so that the position will be given to me, but that is not the case,” he said.
When asked if he would have considered the position if not for his advocacy against the current occupant, he said, “If the president thought so and Ghanaians agreed, why not?”
