IGP Yohuno lacks integrity and is engaged in selective justice—Nana B

The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Henry Nana Boakye, has questioned the integrity of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno.

According to him, the current IGP is not fit for purpose, considering his discriminatory approach in fighting crime in the country.

He explains that the police are involved in selective justice in the country, and that is appalling to note.

To Henry Nana Boakye, the police are gradually losing their respect in society under the leadership of Christian Tetteh Yohuno, and the earlier they do things right, the better.

“The police are involved in selective justice in this country, and that is very worrying. The police have not been able to arrest anyone concerning the Ablekuma North constituency violence. There are NDC communicators who claim that some NPP members have something to do with the August 6, 2025, helicopter crash. All these persons have not been invited by the police, nor have they been arrested, but some members of the NPP have been arrested.

He continued, “Even Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom has also suggested sabotage in the helicopter crash and hasn’t been invited for questioning. Even Sansa Dale, who came to lie to the whole country that she is a doctor and almost got an appointment from the government, has not been invited by the police, but Sir Obama, who did nothing wrong, has been invited just because he belongs to the NPP.”

To him, the current Inspector General of Police will go down as the worst IGP the country has had.
