Ashanti Regional Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Yandoh, has disclosed his intentions to contest for the regional secretary position in the opposition political party.
He has noticed that several patriots have lagged since the political party lost power in 2024 and believes that with him as secretary for the Ashanti Region, he will be able to whip the base to activate the political party in the region.
Paul Yandoh was speaking to Accra-based Asempa FM when he made this disclosure.
He believes he is the man to whip the party base in the Ashanti Region and rejuvenate the NPP spirit in the people.
“I am contesting for the regional secretary position when nominations are open. The current secretary has decided he will not contest, and that is why I am availing myself for the position. If he were to contest, I would have aborted the idea.
I am coming because of the love I have for the political party. I have realized that a number of us have backslided in our support for the party, and therefore, there is a need for us to whip up the base to revive the love for the party. That is why I believe I am the man for the job,” he told Asempa FM’s OB.
