I’ll seek justice for stabbed KNUST student- Ken Agyapong vows

Former Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has vowed to seek justice for the KNUST student who was stabbed in Kumasi.

According to him, a first step towards assuring his followers that he will not forsake them, he has decided to leave the Thank You Tour.

Also, he says he has identified the young man who stabbed the student and will ensure that justice is served.

“We know him; he was part of Ali Suraj’s security; he brought them to Kumasi. I have been with Dr Bawumia through the tour, and I know his security men. I see them, and we have good conversations, so I am shocked that we came to Kumasi, and Ali Suraj brought these security guys.

They are very intolerant, but I assure you that I will seek justice for my people. He was called, and when we asked him, he said he just hit him with the ring he had on. But you saw the stab, and that wasn’t a stab from a ring,” he said.

Kennedy Agyapong has since withdrawn from the Thank You tour because, to him, he does not have the power to protect the men and women who have joined him on the tour and its best he sits back to provide the former flagbearer the opportunity to thank the people of Ghana.
