Afrobeat sensation Davido has finally addressed the ongoing tension between him and fellow artist Tiwa Savage, months after their public fallout.
For context, Tiwa Savage had reported Davido to the Commissioner of Police following an alleged threat from him.
The threat reportedly came after Tiwa posted about hanging out with Sophia Momodu, Davido’s baby mama. The singer allegedly took offense and warned Tiwa to be “careful in Lagos.”
In his recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Davido opened up about the drama, brushing off the feud as insignificant.
“Me and Tiwa used to stay in the same house. It was like brothers and sisters arguing. It was nothing,” he explained, downplaying any claims of serious conflict between them.
While the two have not met since the incident, Davido confirmed that Tiwa reached out to him. He left the door open for a possible future meeting, saying, “If the link-up happens, it happens.”
It seems the tension may be behind them, with both artists moving forward from the misunderstanding.
