It’s time Ablakwa admits private jet politics was wrong

The former chief executive officer for NEIP, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, hopes Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa will admit that the private jet politics was wrong.

Over the weekend, call for the foreign affairs minister to resign heightened.

These calls were premised on an interview he did while in opposition, insisting that if the leadership of a government he is a part of starts using private jets, he will resign.

Reacting to the calls for his resignation, Kofi Ofosu Nkansah indicated that it is high time he and others in the NDC admit their wrongs while in opposition.

Making this position known of social media, she said “I hope our NDC friends, especially Hon. Okudzeto, will admit that the private jet politics was wrong. They fabricated all sorts of silly lies that Prez Akufo-Addo was just wasting money by bathing in the skies. Meanwhile, these were legitimate official trips when the presidential jet wasn’t available.

Imagine the stress Prez Mahama would have gone through if his brother didn’t have a private jet, especially on his Africa trips. In Africa, you can take 3 commercial flights before reaching another country. Was this what the NDC was expecting President Akufo-Addo to be doing?”
