Janet Nabla alleges selective justice by OSP under NDC government

Janet Asana Nabla, the 2024 presidential candidate of the People’s National Party (PNP), has condemned the current operations of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP), claiming the office has become politically partisan and biased in its prosecution of corruption.

“I think that the OSP has become a political he’s even more than an NDC member,” she asserted. “Immediately the NDC came into place.

He tried to please them by doing so many things that ended up not ageing well for the country.”

She raised concerns about the Attorney General’s handling of prosecutions involving ruling-party affiliates:

“If the attorney general can go and place no-pro on their own people that cost this country about 8.9 million billion Ghana cities and say that you should go because you are my party members; I’m not doing anything.

“And it’s running after people who are who have caused financial loss to the tune of 49 million, 27 million and speaking and shivering.

“This is not how we fight crime. Selective crime fighting is not what we need in this.”
