King Mswati III arrives in Ghana for four-day state visit

King Mswati III of Eswatini has arrived in Accra for a four-day state visit aimed at strengthening ties between Ghana and the southern African kingdom.
During his stay, King Mswati will be hosted by President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House, where they will engage in high-level bilateral talks.
The visit is expected to culminate in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen cooperation between the two nations.
As part of his itinerary, the Eswatini monarch will also visit the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat before continuing to Kumasi.
There, he will be received by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as a special guest.

King Mswati III, also known as Ingwenyama, is the current ruler of the Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland).
He ascended to the throne in 1986 and is known for being one of the last remaining absolute monarchs in the world.
His reign has been marked by efforts to preserve traditional Swazi culture while engaging with international partners to advance development in his country.
