Kintampo Deserves Better Under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) After Supporting Them Since 1992

Concerned Citizens of Kintampo and local youth groups are calling for a greater share of national resources and highlighting the dire condition of the town’s roads, which are severely hampering transportation and daily life.” This issue is not new, as residents have been complaining about poor road conditions in Kintampo.
According to the group’s convener, Mr. Basalt Alhassan, clarifies that their objective is not to undermine local officials, but rather to urge the government to take swift action in response to their concerns.
Mr. Basalt further stated that the group is aware that the Minister of Finance will soon present the 2026 budget to Parliament and expressed hope that Kintampo North Municipality will be allocated funds in the budget. They warned that they would be disappointed if Kintampo fails to receive recognition in this year, 2026 budget.”
