The communications manager for Asante Kotoko, Sarfo Doku, has explained that they decided to take Mohammed Camara to Morocco, despite his red card, because the club had already made their flight arrangements before the game against Wydad in Accra.
According to him, apart from travelling arrangements, which had already been done, he is beng sent to inspire his colleagues who are holding the fort.
He explains that Camara has the experience and will be a source of inspiration for his colleagues who will be facing Wydad on Friday.
“We had already worked on travelling arrangements, so we couldn’t have left Camara in Ghana. Also, he will be a source of inspiration for his colleagues. It is even done in the national team where ex-players are sent to the camp to inspire the boys so that is what Camara will be doing since he has the experience at that level,” Sarfo Duku told Kessben FM.
