Okaikwei Central Member of Parliament Patrick Boamah has called on former presidents John Agyekum Kufour and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to call the party to order.
He argues that there is currently a leadership vacuum in the political party that needs to be addressed.
Patrick Boamah was speaking on Accra-based Channel 1 Television when he made this know.
To him, the New Patriotic Party is currently going through turmoil and needs its former presidents to rise up and call the party to order.
“This party has produced two presidents. We are fortunate to have two former presidents alive. I am calling on them to call for some action and order in this party because this party produced them.
If we are going through this turmoil, we ask that they call people round the table and have a heart-to-heart chat with them,” he pleaded.
