Let’s strive to make elections orderly and ordinary

Vice President, Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang has urged the political class to strive to ensure that elections become by default orderly and an ordinary event.
The Vice President made this known while commenting on the pockets of violence that took place at Ablekuma North on July 11, 2025.
She is of the opinion that going forward, politicians and Ghanaians in general should not let their passion devolve into violence.
The Vice President used the opportunity to congratulate Ewurabena Aubynn on her victory chalked in the rerun.
He opinion shared via social media read “I congratulate Ewurabena Aubynn for the decisive victory she earned yesterday at Ablekuma North. I salute her courage and sense of focus.
We also witnessed some unfortunate incidents at that election. While it is good to be interested in the direction our country is taking, we should not allow our passion to devolve into violence.
Human life is precious. Let us get to a place where elections are, by default, orderly and even ordinary events. I wish everybody a peaceful weekend, and may God bless us all”.
