Let’s work hard to avoid an H.E Asiedu Nketia administration in 2028 —Assafuah to NPP members

Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, has urged members of the New Patriotic Party to work together to ensure the political party comes back to power.

According to him, if the NPP fails to capture power in 2028, they will have themselves to blame, as the country will then be forced to have an Asiedu Nketia administration.

“We have our destinies in our hands, and we need to make sure that we win the 2028 elections. If we don’t ensure that we win the 2028 elections, we are going to have H.E Asiedu Nketia,” he stated.

The legislator who was speaking to party faithful in the United Kingdom noted that after elections, most party members have been reluctant to engage in party matters and defend the NPP, especially on social media.

He urged them to take lessons from the NDC in opposition because 40% of the 2028 election outcome will be dependent on social media communications.

“Social media will play 40 to 50% of the 2028 elections, and so if we lose there, then we have a problem,” he explained.

Vincent Ekow Assafuah called for unity as the party goes to the polls in 2026 to elect a flagbearer who will lead the party in 2028.
