Former Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged members of the political party to look forward to the future with optimism.
He made this known while touring parts of the Greater Accra Region to thank the people of Ghana and members of the NPP for their votes in the 2024 elections.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia used the opportunity to remind members of the NPP that while in opposition, the best they can do is to be united.
He is of the view that unity is the best recipe for winning back power in the 2028 election.
His post shared via social media after the tour read “The New Patriotic Party (NPP: Development in Freedom)‘s thank you tour of the Greater Accra Region, which started yesterday, ended today at Weija, and it brings to 15, the number of regions toured so far.
While expressing our party’s gratitude to various stakeholders in the region for their hardwork towards the 2024 election, I also urged them to stay united and look forward to the future with optimism.
With unity and hard work, the NPP will be victorious again”.
