Luis Guzman calls Jennifer Lopez “just ok” in candid interview

Jennifer Lopez’s name came up in a playful but revealing moment during a recent “Hot Ones Versus” video — and actor Luis Guzmán didn’t sugarcoat his answer.
The 68-year-old actor, best known to younger fans as Gomez Addams in Netflix’s Wednesday, was asked to sum up some of his past co-stars in one word.
When his younger castmate Emma Myers mentioned Lopez, Guzmán gave a shrug and called her simply “OK.”
The reaction left his co-stars — including Jenna Ortega — gasping and laughing at his unfiltered honesty.
Guzmán and Lopez go way back: they starred together in Out of Sight (1998), a stylish crime comedy where Lopez played U.S. Marshal Karen Sisco alongside George Clooney, while Guzmán portrayed an escaped prisoner.
The film is widely remembered as one of Lopez’s early standout roles.
While his review of Lopez was lukewarm, Guzmán was glowing about others.
He called Adam Sandler “amazing” — the pair have worked on multiple films together — and described Catherine Zeta-Jones as “bellísima” (Spanish for beautiful).
His younger co-star Jenna Ortega was praised as “a prodigy,” a compliment that left her smiling and touched.
With Wednesday’s second season currently rolling out on Netflix, fans are seeing plenty of the actor — and, clearly, hearing plenty of his unfiltered truth too.
