The Asankragwa District Court on 26th March 2025 convicted Daniel Baidoo for an attack on a group of journalists at Adumanya near Asankran Breman in the Western Region.
Following his conviction, Daniel Baidoo was sentenced to a fine of 300 penalty units, which translates to Three Thousand Six Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH₵3,600.00).
In default, Daniel Baidoo will serve one year’s imprisonment in hard labour.
Daniel Baidoo was arrested on 21st February 2025, by the Western Central Regional Police Command for the attack and also recovered from him a Panasonic Lumix camera and an iPhone belonging to the victims.
