The Ghana Armed Forces has confirmed the death of six prospective personnel.
A statement from the service said the six died as a result of the stampede ahead of the recruitment exercise today.
Other potential recruits are said to be receiving emergency treatment at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
GAF used the opportunity to express their condolences to the bereaved families.
