Mohamed Salah rewrites Premier League record books with achievement that Cristiano Ronaldo & Thierry Henry never managed

Mohamed Salah is rewriting the Premier League history books, with the Liverpool forward achieving something Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry couldn’t.

The Egyptian King has scored at least 20 goals in each of his eight seasons at Anfield. Higher standards have been maintained in the 2024-25 season.

After scoring and assisting a goal over the weekend in Liverpool’s 2-0 victory against Man City, Mohamed Salah becomes the first player in Premier League history to be involved in 40+ goals in two different seasons.

42 goal involvements in 2017/18 (32 goals, 10 assists)
40 goal involvements in 2024/25 (25 goals, 15 assists)

It is very likely Liverpool will win this season’s Premier League title but questions continue to be asked about Salah’s future. The 32-year-old’s contract will expire in the summer, making him a free agent.
