According to a report by Wontumionline, a journalist with Movement TV/Wontumi Radio Gordon Asare Bediako has been taken into custody by the Office of the Special Prosecutor.
His colleague, Dasebre Agyei Dwamena, disclosed the development, revealing that officials from the Special Prosecutor’s office arrived at Movement TV’s premises earlier in search of Bediako.
After failing to locate him, they contacted him by phone, requesting that he report to their office the following day.
However, with an exam scheduled for tomorrow, Bediako opted to visit the office today instead. Upon arrival, he was detained.
The reasons for his detention remain unclear, and it is unknown whether any charges have been filed against him.
Dwamena assured that updates will be provided as more details emerge.
