MP condemns decision to burn seized Motorbikes by Military

Member of Parliament for Binduri in the Upper East Region, Issifu Mahmoud, has condemned the military over their decision to burn motorbikes they seized in the constituency.

In a statement issued on April 21, 2025 he was of the view that burning the motorbikes is not the best decision, so they should rather keep them in the custody of the security agencies and ensure that the ban on motorbikes is followed.

However, he has commended efforts by the military to fish out persons believed to be suspects in the killing of a mother and her four children.

He encouraged the military to continue to seize ammunition and apprehend all persons involved in the murder of the mother and her four children in Binduri.
