Muntaka joins dignitaries to mourn with Sekyere East DCE at father’s burial

Interior Minister Mubarak Muntaka has joined key political figures and traditional leaders to mourn with the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere East, Hon. Ibrahim Adams, following the passing of his father.

In a heartfelt message shared on his Facebook page, Muntaka expressed his condolences and reflected on the significance of the moment.

“Today, I joined the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, Hon. Collins Dauda (MP for Asutifi South), and Ashanti Regional Chairman Augustus Andrews at Effiduase to mourn with the District Chief Executive for Sekyere East, Hon. Ibrahim Adams, as he laid his beloved father to rest,” he wrote.

Describing the atmosphere as one of deep reflection and unity, he added, “It was a solemn moment of reflection and unity as we paid tribute to a man whose life touched many and whose legacy lives on in the hearts of those he left behind.”

The Interior Minister offered his sympathies to the grieving family, saying, “My heartfelt condolences go to Hon. Ibrahim Adams and his family. May the soul of his father rest in perfect peace. And may the family find comfort and strength in the love and support surrounding them.”

The funeral ceremony, held at Effiduase in the Ashanti Region, drew attendees from various political, traditional, and community leadership backgrounds, all coming together in solidarity with the DCE.
