My fight against corruption not limited to just appointees of the previous government—Mahama

President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has indicated that his fight against corruption is not limited to recovering loot from past appointees.
According to him, he will make sure that his own appointees serve Ghanaians responsibly.
President John Dramani Mahama made this known while accounting to the people of Ghana after his 120 days in office.
“As promised, my commitment to fighting corruption is not limited to recovering loot from past appointees. We will also ensure that our own appointees serve Ghanaians responsibly and are held to the highest standards of accountability,” he said.
The President indicated that over the years, public trust has been eroded because appointees have always been purchasing state assets after they have served in office.
He indicated that his government’s code of conduct prevents appointees from purchasing public property directly or indirectly while in office.
