Ghana’s self-acclaimed Dancehall King has touted the reformative powers in his Lyrics.
According to him, through his music, people who were hitherto armed robbers have changed their ways.
He said such people are now drivers on his ride-hailing app.
“I am not an armed robber, but we know people who, through listening to my music, have changed. I recently had a driver who told me that he and his friends were living in the ghetto.
When I started this Shaxi thing, he tried, and now he’s got a car. I saw him at the airport, and he was driving. So I gave him money and reminded him to be diligent,” he explained.
