NDC has prepared petitioners for the removal of EC boss

National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, known popularly as Nana B has alleged that the governing National Democratic Congress has prepared people to petition the president over the removal of the chairperson of the Electoral Commission.
He says that immediately the government succeeds in removing the Chief Justice, the government will take steps to remove the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission.
Henry Nana Boakye made this known in a post shared via social media.
He said, “CJ’s Suspension: The NDC has prepared people to come out with petitions for the removal of the Electoral commissioner if they succeed in removing the chief justice.”
Meanwhile, some political parties have hinted of a demonstration to register their displeasure at the decision to suspend the Chief Justice and also sack some Ghanaians who have been employed in the public sector.
To them, the current government is meddling in politics with the Judiciary and what’s currently ongoing will weaken the judiciary, killing it of its independence as an Arm of Government.
