Netizen accuses Abena Manokekame and brother of defrauding him

A yet-to-be-identified netizen has called out Abena Magis, popularly known as Abena Manokekame, and her brother for allegedly defrauding him of Ghc50,000.
According to the netizen, sometime in 2023, Abena shared a travel and tour telegram link for her followers created by one John Kwesi Odoom, her brother.
He continued that they announced a travel offer to Canada in the group which got him interested and went forward to contact them and even travelled to their office located in Kasoa Ofaakor where he was met by John Kwesi Odoom.
The meeting ended up with him paying an office fee of Ghc500 as office registration fees and an amount of Ghc3000 as a down payment for the Canada job opportunity with a receipt issued.
The netizen added that the receipt issued to him was an official Abena Magis RECEIPT (Abena Manokekame) which got him relaxed because he believed he was not going to be scammed since Abena was a known philanthropist.
Fast forward, he contacted Abena to understand what was happening and was told that the Canada job opportunity was no longer available but there was an open slot in Cayman Island and that the service charge was GH¢36,000.
