Davido unveils $750K diamond ‘5ive’ pendant ahead of tour

Afrobeats superstar Davido is back in the spotlight—this time, not for a chart-topping hit, but for a jaw-dropping piece of jewelry that has fans buzzing.

The singer just took delivery of a massive, custom-made diamond pendant shaped like the number “5,” a nod to his fifth studio album 5ive and the world tour that’s about to follow.

Crafted by New York-based celebrity jeweler Benny Da Jeweller, the pendant reportedly cost a cool $750,000 and is being described as one of the biggest bespoke chains ever made.

In a video that’s now making the rounds online, Davido is seen unboxing the shimmering pendant and flashing his signature smile. Benny called the piece a “1-of-1 Cuban” design, tailored exclusively for Davido’s 5ive Tour.

Of course, the internet had plenty to say. While critics like activist VeryDarkMan took aim at the flashy display, fans clapped back, defending Davido’s right to enjoy his success. “Leave cho cho for VDM,” one supporter quipped, adding that the singer’s success speaks for itself.

This isn’t Davido’s first luxury flex. The singer has previously flaunted diamond-studded teeth and multi-million-dollar chains—but this new addition takes things to a whole new level.

With the 5ive album still dominating charts and a global tour on the horizon, it’s safe to say Davido isn’t just making hits—he’s making statements.
